Terms of Use

for The Nomad’s House Hotel

Reservation Policy

A deposit is required for the reservation, depending on the number of nights, as described below:

  • For 2 to 4 nights, an amount equivalent to one (1) night is required as a deposit.
  • For 5 to 8 nights, an amount equivalent to two (2) nights is required as a deposit.
  • For 9 to 15 nights, an amount equivalent to two (3) nights is required as a deposit.

The deposit can be paid via wire transfer to the following bank account:

Any bank transfer or currency conversion fees are solely the responsibility of the tenant.

If the amount of the deposit is not transferred within 48 hours from the time of reservation, and the deposit receipt is not sent to Nomad’s House Hotel email, the reservation is automatically canceled.

As of January 1, 2024, in accordance with the Ministerial Decision A.1217/2023 (Government Gazette B’7535/31.12.2023), an additional climate resilience tax is imposed. The tax amounts to €1.50 per overnight stay, is charged to the room tenant and is collected before departure.

Minimum Stay

The minimum reservation is 3 nights from the 1st of July to the 4th of September and 2 nights for the rest of the operating months.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before the arrival date, the deposit is refunded, and you are not charged any cancellation fees.

If you cancel your reservation within a period of less than 30 days from your arrival date, you are not entitled to a refund of the deposit.

Check-in Policy

  • Check-in time: 15:00
  • Check-out time: 12:00

Early check-in or late check-out is possible depending on availability.

Late check-in after 20:00 incurs a cost of 20 euros.

Damage to property

In case of any damage to our property because of intention or negligence, our hotel reserves the right to charge the amount of the damage caused.

Cleaning of rooms

The rooms are cleaned daily from 10:00 to 14:00.

The bed linens and towels are changed every 2 days.

If you wish to have them changed earlier, you can place the towels/sheets in the laundry basket, and on the same day, we will provide you with new ones for an additional charge of +5 euros per change.

Please do not throw dirty towels on the floor. There is a designated basket in the room.

Our Policy regarding Smoking

Smoking or vaping are not allowed in any room of the hotel. Smoking is allowed in the verandas or outdoors. In case it is found that smoking has taken place in a room, the hotel will charge a cleaning fee of 250 euros before or after check-out.

Our Policy regarding Children

Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by their parents/guardians at all times during their stay at our hotel.

Parents/guardians are responsible for the use of sharp objects or electrical devices in the kitchen area of the room.

We are willing to remove any sharp objects or electrical devices from the room so as to prevent any potential accidents.

Nomad’s House Hotel will bear no responsibility for any accidents which were caused by unauthorized permission of the use of electrical devices and sharp kitchen objects by an underage person.

Our Policy regarding Pets

Pets are not allowed in the Nomad’s House Hotel.

Guide Dogs for people with special needs are excluded as long as they have security health cards and certification documents.

Terms of WiFi use

In terms of using the internet service through wireless network (WiFi) which is provided by the Nomad’s House Hotel, I accept, acknowledge and declare the following:

Having access and using the Wi Fi service for myself, I accept that the conditions of using the internet in this particular text are correct and reasonable. In case I do not consider them correct or reasonable, I will not use this internet service.

I am over 18 years old since the internet service is provided only to people who are older than 18. In case I wish my child to use this service, I accept these terms on his/her behalf and I am responsible for the supervision of my underage child regarding the correct use of this service.

The Nomad’s House Hotel offers this service free of charge to facilitate my browsing on the internet during my stay at the hotel.

Nomad’s House Hotel undertakes no further obligations towards me like providing constant connection, internet speed, compatibility of equipment, security of equipment, software, personal data or potential transactions as well as checking information received or the suitability of the content of the sites I visit, all of which I am the only person responsible for.

I understand that the internet is a vast area and that I am solely responsible for keeping and protecting my personal data. I ought to be acting as diligently as possible, taking all the necessary measures of safety into account so as to prevent any illegal use of my personal data.

On using the Wi Fi service, I ought to act in good faith, according to morals and not initiate any actions which may provoke criminal prosecution against the Nomad’s House Hotel regarding the Penal Code in particular laws which have to do with the protection of personal data, the legislations concerning telecommunications and copyright as well as the relevant legislations of the European Union, the National Telecommunications Commission, the Data Protection Authority and any other Public or Administrative Authority or even actions which may violate any right or interest of the Nomad’s House Hotel.

I am solely responsible for any kind of damage caused by me towards the hotel or others from my actions during my use of the Wi Fi service provided by Nomad’s House Hotel . I declare that I will not use this service for any illegal, unlawful, immoral, unethical, abusive, stalking actions and particularly for the following actions:

  1. Circulating illegal, pornographic, violent, indecent or in any way insulting, slanderous, scurrilous content which may infringe on any individual’s personality or might be considered racist, nationality insulting or questionable in any manner.
  2. Stalking, harassment, threat or harm of another person.
  3. Illegal access on systems, network overload, spamming, disclosure of confidential information.
  4. Infringement of intellectual rights/copyright.
  5. Broadcasting, storing or communicating in any way material which carries viruses or any kind of code, records or computer programs which are designed to harm, influence or limit the regular function of this service.
  6. Creating interference or disconnect of service (including access to service through automated ways, e.g. script or web crawling) or any servers or networks which are connected to the service or any regulations of the website, which are connected to the service(including non-authorized access, the use or tracking data or any kind of action related to these).
  7. Constructing or proceeding of any illegal activity.

The Wi Fi service is provided “as it stands” and “where it is”, without any warranty express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or suitability for a particular purpose. Nomad’s House Hotel cannot be held responsible for any damage (direct, indirect, actual, loss) which has to do with my personal use of the Wi Fi service, even in the event of having been informed about the possibility of the occurrence of such damage.

I acknowledge the fact that the Wi Fi service of Nomad’s House Hotel has been designed and offered for personal use only, on an individual basis. Nomad’s House Hotel is not responsible for any damage I suffer or any damage caused to third parties in case of alternative use of the Wi Fi service (financial loss due to incomplete professional activity, loss of opportunity etc.) from the temporary or permanent end of the service.

Nomad’s House Hotel does not recommend and is not responsible for the use of the service for professional purposes.

I am solely responsible for the choice, installation, activation, use and functionality of the equipment , systems, software and security protocol which I will use while being connected to the Wi Fi service of Nomad’s House Hotel, as far as their suitability is concerned and the provision of safety from external threats, including malicious software.

I am solely responsible for keeping the data which I enter in the Wi Fi service confidential and safe for all the activities which I am involved with during my use.

Nomad’s House Hotel cannot guarantee the safety of my equipment, nor its integrity, availability, confidentiality of information, records and data which are exchanged through the internet when there is illegal access or use. I understand that it is my responsibility to keep adequate safety measures which prevent illegal access or use of my equipment and the disclosure of my confidential information as well as the illegal access to the Wi Fi service through the equipment of Nomad’s House Hotel.

Technical support is not provided by Nomad’s House Hotel . The staff of Nomad’s House Hotel cannot and do nor have to provide any clarification regarding the use of the WiFi service.

Any violation of these terms gives us a reason to terminate your access to our WiFi service.

These terms of WiFi use are governed by the Greek and European Law and any illegal action on their use is exclusively subject to jurisdiction of the competent Courts of Athens.
